TNT is Emmanuel's Twenties and Thirties group. Each week we meet after the 6pm service to eat a meal together. There is usually a speaker or an interview to challenge us, inform us, and help us grow in our faith. TNT is a great place to meet new people and be challenged and helped to grow as a Christian. Just stick around after the service if you would like to join in.
We also organise open-invitation social events each term, too. All the details appear in our term card. To get involved and/or sign up for the newsletter contact the TNT Committee.
If you'd like to sign up to cook or volunteer the TNT Cooking Rota is here.
We have book group sessions roughly once a month - everyone reads a couple of chapters in advance and we then discuss these together. We are currently reading:
Knowing God by J.I. Packer
The next book group session will be on Sunday 19th November. Please read chapters 5 ("God Incarnate") and 6 ("He Shall Testify") in advance.
2018 Weekend Away
The TNT weekend away will take place on 5th-7th January 2018. We will, once again, be heading down to the Oast Houses; an idyllic venue in the East Sussex countryside. The weekend will be a chance for us to relax, learn from God's word and enjoy fellowship together. We will be looking at the book of 2 Peter together, with Robin Weekes as our main speaker. To book your place on the weekend, please follow this link which will take you to the payment site. If you are not able to be with us for the whole weekend, you can book a day pass for Saturday 6th January.
Bible study groups are a central part of the life of Emmanuel and TNT has its own groups particularly suited to new Christians and people new to Emmanuel. We meet on a Tuesday or Wednesday for dinner, to read the Bible together, and to pray for and encourage each other. Click here for more details.
